EmailWHY WE LOVE IT: The classic version of the Polo in the best version -- flat, domed glass, patinae, seconds-hand and date. The classic ancestor of the Polo79.
The sought-after jumbo-version of the Piaget Polo in the rarest and special dial-variant with seconds-hand, date-window and slightly domed glass: the improved version of the two-hands classic Piaget Polo ref7661 and probably the most beautiful Piaget Polo so far. To achieve the ultra-thin but nevertheless heavy and valuable appearance Piaget domed the glass for the three-hand- and date-version -- side effect: when the light touches a ref15661 the crystal creates amazing effects.
Offered with original box and unfilled (empty) guarantee-card. The watch is unpolished, and was probably (if at all) worn just a few times very carefully -- great condition. The bracelet has full length (195mm) and no stretch -- needless to point out all stamped numbers are deeply visible and matching. The watch is dated to 1982.
Notabene: It was rare more than 40y ago already, yes. But it is a sad but known fact that many of the Polo Piagets have been destroyed and smelted in the late '90s and 2000s especially, making it a even rarer icon.
