The impressive size, the heavy weight, the sweeping second and the humming sound of this pioneer quartz movement (Beta21) are giving this piece made by Rolex in the early 70s its place in horological books. Another aspect why it is a special watch and also a special Rolex: It was made in a limited edition of 1'000 pieces -- engraved on the case back. The second only limited edition ever done by Rolex.
