Vacheron & Constantin Automatic
Wednesday, September 2, 2020
Vacheron Constantin began producing high class watches with automatic calibers in 1951 -- using the cal477 bumper automatic developed by JLC.
This horological relevant movement was put in a Vacheron reference 4466 case, showing classic size and iconic lugs. The photo shows a VC ref4466 initially sold by Türler in 1952, invisible but inside an excellent preserved example of caliber 477.
This watch marks the beginning of a decades long history of automatic movements by Vacheron Constantin. Historical!
