New vs Old: The Head of the Polo79 is almost identical to the Original -- with two obvious deviations: bigger hands and minute-dots and a loud PIAGET-print. Both changes are a design-mistake, making it appear less valuable -- although its price-tag is higher.

Even more: as the case is bigger (38 vs 34mm) and thicker than the original and the bracelet wasnt inflated with the same rate, the relation to the bracelet is not as beautiful as it was.

The original design by Mr Jean-Claude Gueit is more of what was the Polo-idea, as Yves Piaget put it: "The Polo can be summed up in one sentence: it’s a watch-bracelet rather than a mere wristwatch."
