Piaget Emperador - Polo - Chukker: the evolution of a watch and a bracelet-system, that was developed by Piaget and reached perfection in the early 1970s.
- it was first used in the Jean-Claude Gueit-designed Emperador
- then since 1979 in the Gueit-designed (Classic) Polo, with every 2nd link elongated / doubled in length
- finally in the mid '80s the system evolved to the Gueit-designed Chukker, with every link elongated
Excellence, same but different. The finishing is different. The most popular of the three, the Polo comes usually with the elongated link horizontally brushed and the interlink polished, while the rarest of the trio, the Chukker has parts of each link heightened and polished, while the rest is brushed in vertical direction.
The most exalted and interesting of these is for sure the Emperador. Not only being the heaviest, the most lavish and highest quality and always the most expensive of the three, it comes with different finishings -- brushed, polished, hammered or bork-like chiselled (Palace Decor).
Trend-defining, characteristic and reason why Piaget is called "House of Gold": Emperador, Polo, Chukker.
