A super rare and important vintage AP that was probably the design template of the octagonal Royal Oak -- either Gentas design or his inspiration / muse: octagonal, integrated bracelet and the caliber K2121 -- all this was defining part of the AP Royal Oak. The diamonds became bolts and instead of white gold AP used steel to counter the increased gold price.
The watch case and bracelet is without issues, warp or stretch. Just the black dial is not in perfect condition anymore.
