Gold-Striped Steel: AP Zebra, Rare

WHY WE LOVE IT? It has the 80s-vibe like not many other watches made by AP: bicolor case (steel & gold, serial# B80'XXX) and in the footsteps of the then top-watch, the Piaget Polo -- but with a twist: instead of quartz Audemars used the ultra-thin mechanical cal2080 (serial# 296'XXX) to power this design-icon.

You will have a hard time finding another AP Zebra in mid-size -- it is much rarer than the now quite common max-size. But I doubt you will find another one in such great condition at all: apparently unpolished, crispy, without stretch or significant signs of time and wear and with the gold with a caramel-brown hue.
