Electronic Cartier Pocketwatch: Bulova Accutron

Bulova Cartier Electronic Pocketwatch: Accutron, Tuningfork, DoubleSigned

WHY WE LOVE IT: Because it shows better than anything else that Cartier loved tuningfork-movements more than five decades ago. Back then: The future.

1969! When tuningfork-movements where the most precise and quartz has not yet even arrived, Cartier sold this Bulova Accutron tuningfork-pocketwatch. The 18K solid goldcase is stamped with French import-hallmarks and the Cartier inventory-number. The movement is marked M9 and allows us to date it to 1969.

Definitely a rare and horological relevant artefact, delivered with its Cartier box.
