A rare Gerald Genta timepiece with an interesting and original bracelet made of 18K solid yellow gold in style of a cartridge belt and connected to the case by the iconic Vendome lugs. Extravagant and special. The lapis lazuli moon is a special eye catcher on the shiny mother-of-pearl dial, that is reflecting incoming light in a vast variety of colors. The sub dials show a day-date (3 & 9 o'clock), a GMT / second time zone (6 o'clock) and the moon phase (12 o'clock).
Designed by the late Gerald Genta (Designer of some Omega Constellations, AP Royal Oak, IWC Ingenieur, Patek Nautilus and Ellipse and Rolex King Midas etc etc) for his own brand in men / unisex size. And not without Chuzpe: Exactly the octagonal shape that made his design of the Royal Oak a blockbuster and on top the Nautilus Ears -- the most characteristic feature of his 2nd blockbuster design. Just not two of them but in total six. So, obviously this watch is a clear reminiscence and homage to these two icons.
On top: Handmade in just a handful of pieces. Heavy and fantastically preserved and in very good condition: a watch on its own.
