This beautiful and beyond rare massive 18K gold 1940s Ermeto made by Lucerne, Switzerland based Jeweler Gubelin is in good to very good conditon given the age. It is definitely unpolished, all hallmarks, stamps and structures are perfectly visible and undestroyed. Also, the black enamel decoration is sharp and not re-painted.
It is left to the beholder whether the closed Ermeto shows a black enamel Swiss Cross or just a marking showing the place to touch to open.
