More than 80 years old but an outstanding watch -- Hamilton Rutledge: the platinum tank-shaped case holds the serviced Hamilton cal982 under a patinaed but overall well preserved dial with applied Arabic numerals and a printed minute track. On top there is the domed glass in fabulous condition, which not only creates strong effects when exposed to sunlight but creates a sculptural appearance of the watch -- especially when viewed in profile.
The appearance of this watch is on its own outstanding, already. A classic. However, we were able to enhance it even further by attaching it to a gray strap made of leather and styled in Pilot shape -- wrist-aesthetics as we do it and we love it.
