But that is a common issue with these Longines Ultra-Quartz and reason is the super-complexity of the movement: A "tuningfork" that is running at a rate of 170Hz and a quartz vibrating at a rate of 9'350Hz -- the latter controlling the former.
And all this is achieved by using discrete elements, only and not a integrated circuit (IC) -- a truly avant-garde watch, a kyberntik watch.
