Beautiful, Elegant & Thin Platinum Chaumet Dress Pocket Watch

A rare and beautiful and well preserved pocket watch made by Chaumet more than 100 years ago from Platinum decorated with a original set diamond flank -- interesting, rare and historical. The watch was probably made for the English market by the Paris, 12 Place Vendome resident highest class jeweller as indicated by the dial: Paris - Londres.

The case is in very good and unpolished condition that shows some minor signs of wear and use, especially on the case back. The dial is aged to perfection and shows nice patina but no sign of intervention or refurbishing. It became a little darker on the edges but is still intact and the art of guilloched sector dial is not only in outstanding condition but shows the most interesting effects still after more than one hundred years.

The movement is working fine after our cleaning, oiling and adjusting.
