Eberhard is in fantastic shape and this art-deco pocketwatch is no exception. The company founded 1887 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland made this gem with a flawless Mother of Pearl dial in a fantastic preserved 18K yellow gold polygonal case. The applied numerals clarify that this was a top-end piece of their offerings in the 1930s. The fine decorated top-tier caliber is hidden by a safely and crisp closing gold lid and tells the same: I was an expensive and elaborated gem almost one hundred years ago.

It is obviously one of the most beautiful and elaborated cases ever made for pocketwatches and maybe we should point out, that it was made by one of the masters of case-making: Favre & Perret SA, La Chaux-de-Fonds -- the company that was engaged by Patek, often. Not for their standard Calatrava watches, no but for the cases of most of their outstanding and extraordinary high class pieces.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: The numeral at 11 o'clock misses one number 1.

The movement works fantastic, precise and flawless after our full service days ago.
