What a beautiful watch: amazingly faceted 18K solid gold case, a preview of the later multi-faceted PoleRouters III. Unusual, edgy and reflective, in a good and classic men-watch size and overall with a beautiful patinae.
Made in 1956 according to our research and notes and sold in Lausanne by the luxury jeweler Au Diademe (Rue de Bourg 3, Lausanne) as indicated by the black laquered dial with a doublesignature.
The microrotor-movement UG cal215 was serviced right now and is working precise and reliable. Between the UG buckle and the solid gold 18K case (nice patinae and probably unpolished as indicated by sharp edges and deep hallmarks) we put a black custom-made linen strap. Nice.
