40th Anniversary: A beautiful and fine vintage 1982 Vacheron as documented by the included Excerpt of VC Archive. Thin and classy with linen dial and roman numbers and a fitted box. Overall in close to perfect condition: not un-worn but unpolished and with sharp and crisp edges and hallmarks -- hard to find and suited for daily wearer and collectors alike.
We decided to put a custom made black lizard leather strap between 18K gold case and gold-plated buckle. The watch is running on the legendary cal1003 movement, made by Vacheron, which sets standards in 1953 and is even today a reliable companion. 117 parts on 21mm diameter and just 1.65mm heigth -- and reliable. This is world class and an authentic Classic by VC.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: The dial is in very good condition, altough there is a very small caramel-colored spot next to eight-hours, probably from oxidation over last 40 years.
