Rare & Important: Longines Delirium Feuille d’Or, UltraThin
Longines Delirium / Feuille d’Or; Rare & Important

- Time (Hour, Minute)
WHY WE LOVE IT? Because it was the worlds thinnest watch since 1979 for decades (sub 2mm) until the Bulgari Octofinissimo Ultra & the Richard Mille RM-UP01 beat the world-record by a hair's breadth in the 2000s. Oh, and it marks the endpoint of Longines' most innovative decade -- from 1969 - 1979 -- with the UltraQuartz, the Quartz-Chron and this Golden Leaf.
Its price was approx CHF20'000 or USD10'000 in 1979 -- and one can imagine that it was a true Yuppie Luxury item. Yes, an automatic-wound Rolex Submariner was priced slightly below USD1'000 at this time and so just approx 10% of this avantgarde-watch: modern, thin, made of gold and always precise and sharp on time -- automatic for the Punks, quartz for the Yuppies. We are happy to have an unworn and of course fully-working example in our offering.
