1930s Rose Ladies Patek X Walser Wald
Patek Philippe 1930s Rose Ladies Bracelet: DoubleSigned Walser Wald, Buenos Aires
- Time (Hour, Minute)
Beautiful 1930s (most probably 1936) Ladies Jewel made by Patek for / and Walser Wald, the popular jeweler and Patek dealer in Buenos Aires, Argentina from that era. The bracelet is in fantastic condition, without stretch on defects. The clasp closes tight and strong
The Patek Philippe movement (cal8ยดยดยด) has the number 840'XXX and inside there is no further Patek case or reference number and there are two possibilities: either the case was made by Patek without case number -- this was made in the 1920s - 1940s a few times -- or the case was made by Walser Wald in Buenos Aires and only dial and movement was provided by Patek. This is also possible, due to the import and customs restrictions for gold cases of several countries in the first half of the 20th century.
However, it is a fantastic and dressing historical jewel that is close to 100 years old, still in fantastic condition and a proof of highest goldsmith art and quality.
