Piaget Asprey Anniversary Altiplano, DoubleSigned Integrated Bracelet & Warhol-Dial
Piaget Asprey Anniversary-Altiplano: Warhol- / Parallax-Dial, Birch-Finish

- Time (Hour, Minute)
WHY WE LOVE IT? Because it is a rare 1974-Piaget (100th Anniversary) made for Asprey, the important London-based jeweler, with one of the best dials & finishings.
Wow, what a Piaget! One of just 37 made in this reference, according to the Piaget-Archive -- and in this configuration for sure just a fraction of these 37: the Piaget-signature integrated bracelet (bracelet code A6)) with the birch-tree finished case (33.5mm without crown) and bracelet; slate grey sunburst-dial with the Piaget-signature Parallax-dial -- yes, the one that Andrew Warhol chose for his Beta22 in 1973 and that was simply the hottest dial in the early and mid 1970s: each index is different and hand-cut & -finished, creating a depth of the dial.
More than 50y old but: The bracelet seems to have (almost) full length with approx 20cm and shows no stretch or warp. The dial and the crystal are in superb condition as well and the automatic cal12P-movement was just serviced.
