Piaget Rare & Early White Beta21: Integrated Milanaise-Bracelet & TwoTone, Cartier-Dial
- Time (Hour, Minute)
One of the earliest Piaget Beta21, dated to 1970 according to our books and research. And one of the most characteristic: Whitegold, integrated bracelet and the characteristic Cartier-type dial with roman-numerals and minute-railroad-track -- classic. Needless to note that the Beta21 is humming with 8'192Hz (Quartz) and with 256Hz (tuningfork-motor) and both frequencies are audible: two tone.
As we have outlined in our blog Piaget made in total 400 Beta21 between 1970 and 1972 and thus not more than Patek. We dont know exact distribution between models, dial variants and material used but we can assume that more than 300 of these were made in 18K yellowgold and less than 100 in 18K whitegold. This one is in amazing condition: all hallmarks are deep and edges are sharp. The movement is working excellent after our service and will be guaranteed for one year. The crystal is without issues.
How many of these still exist and do so in a comparable condition is unknown but we are not shy to call this a very rare and important Piaget.
The integrated milanaise-bracelet is of course original to this watch and without defects. It fits a up to 190mm wrist and could be removed to put a strap on this bright icon -- we made a beautiful white one, that connects the heavy case to the 18K Piaget-buckle.
